Madeline is a communications, strategy, and design professional, having worked across Federal Government, consulting, and the Not-For-Profit sector.
Madeline has experience in government, tertiary education and training, research commercialisation and startups, and social services, as well as expertise in strategic design, stakeholder engagement, communications, and policy writing. Since joining SEC Newgate, she has worked on communications and government relations projects across the technology, charity, and business sectors.
Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Madeline worked at a boutique consultancy firm, undertaking participatory design projects to deliver sustainable and effective strategies for her university clients.
Madeline spent a number of years in the Australian Government Department of Education, leading work in the intersection of education, skills, and employment. She has worked on digital innovation projects, complex and dynamic stakeholder engagement processes, and policy development, as well as having worked to Senior Executives, including in the Minister’s Office.
Madeline also has experience in political advocacy and government relations, having worked in a number of international and local Not-For-Profits in Canberra.
Madeline holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Design Strategies from the University of Canberra.
